Milky Mist Dairy Food IPO Listing: Shares Debut at ₹165, Gain 18% Over Issue Price

Milky Mist Dairy Food made a strong debut on the Indian stock exchanges on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The company's shares listed at ₹165 apiece on both the NSE and BSE, delivering a listing gain of ₹25, or 17.86%, compared with the IPO issue price of ₹140.

 

Following the listing, the stock extended its gains. At 10:05 AM, according to the market data cited in the report, Milky Mist shares were trading at ₹180.10, up ₹15.10, or 9.15%, from the IPO issue price.

Milky Mist shares make strong stock market debut.

 

Milky Mist Dairy Food's market debut was stronger than the grey-market indications ahead of listing. The shares opened at ₹165 on both the NSE and BSE, compared with the IPO price of ₹140.

 

At the listing price, investors who received one IPO lot of 107 shares would have seen a gain of approximately ₹2,675 on an investment of ₹14,980.

 

The company commanded a market capitalisation of around ₹12,702 crore at the ₹165 listing price.

 

Stock gains further after listing

 

Milky Mist shares continued to attract buying interest after their debut. The stock moved towards the ₹180 level shortly after listing, indicating that investors remained positive about the company's market debut.

 

Business Standard reported that the stock subsequently touched ₹181.45 on the BSE, its 10% upper circuit at the time.

 

Reuters also reported that the shares rose to around ₹181.50 on the NSE, representing a gain of nearly 30% over the ₹140 IPO price.

 

Milky Mist IPO received strong investor demand.

 

The ₹1,553-crore Milky Mist Dairy Food IPO was subscribed 56.12 times by the end of the bidding period. Qualified institutional buyers showed particularly strong interest, with their portion subscribed 155.83 times. The NII portion was subscribed 34.91 times, while the retail portion was subscribed 8.41 times.

 

The IPO consisted of a fresh issue worth approximately ₹1,428 crore and an offer-for-sale component of ₹125 crore.
