Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a three-day visit to France from Monday at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. He will co-chair the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit with Macron on February 11. After the AI ​​Summit, PM Modi and President Macron will address the India-France CEO Forum.

 

Will pay tribute to Indian soldiers

 

Delegation level talks will also be held between PM Modi and President Macron. On February 12, both leaders will pay tribute to the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the First World War. Both leaders will jointly inaugurate the Consulate General of India in Marseille. From France, PM Modi will go to America.

 

There will be talk on the dangers of AI

 

According to AP, leaders from around the world will brainstorm on the challenges and dangers of AI. The objective of this summit is to find out how to use the potential of AI so that the myriad risks of technology are resolved and everyone benefits.

New confrontation between China and US on AI

 

At the 2023 summit in Britain, 28 countries adopted a non-binding resolution to tackle AI risks. The conference comes at a time when China's affordable AI tool DeepSeek has fuelled geopolitical confrontation between Beijing and Washington over technological supremacy.
