She used to collect funds for Babbar Khalsa International in the UK. In the year 2020, he was detained by the security agencies there along with five other associates.
There too he was interrogated. It is also being told that money has been transferred from abroad in some accounts of Kirandeep Kaur. This is also being investigated. Although any police officer is refusing to say anything on this. The police are only saying that the bank accounts of Kirandeep and his relatives are being scrutinized.
If the security agencies get any clue during the interrogation, Kirandeep can be taken into custody. Amritpal's brother has already been taken into custody by the police. Amritpal's mother Balwinder Kaur, father Tarsem Singh and uncle Sukhchain Singh and grandmother Charan Kaur were also questioned on Wednesday.
Amritpal's parents were interrogated for one and a half hours
The Punjab Police team reached Amritpal's village Jallupur Kheda at around 1.30 am on Wednesday and questioned his parents. SP Parminder Kaur told that both were interrogated about Amritpal's whereabouts for about one and a half hours, but they denied any information about the son. Sources have informed that the police pressurized her to ask her son to surrender. A police team is continuously guarding Amritpal's house.
Amritpal's bike recovered
At the same time, the search operation of Punjab Police continued on Wednesday in search of Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh. There was no trace of him even on the fifth day. At the same time, the bike on which Amritpal fled after dodging the Punjab Police was recovered from the Darapur area, 45 km from Jalandhar. It was found standing in an abandoned condition.
Amritpal's four accomplices arrested
Police are questioning the people around them. On the other hand, the crackdown on Amritpal's close friends continues. Four more of his associates were arrested in Ludhiana. These include Honey Singla, Gurnam Singh, Simranpreet Singh, and Harpreet Singh.
Honey Singla is the same person who talked about showering flowers in the Khalsa Waheer (special religious procession) of Amritpal Singh. According to the police, the four accused were influenced by Amritpal after watching videos online.
158 accused arrested so far
