BJP is entering the election battle of UP with full force. PM Narendra Modi addressed the BJP's virtual rally today regarding the assembly elections. PM Modi's first virtual rally has been named 'Jan Choupal'. In this rally of Modi, the focus was mainly on western UP.
Modi said that connecting so many people through technology in such a short time is the result of the day and night hard work of BJP workers. This is proof of a vibrant organization. Modi said that this is the land of western Uttar Pradesh, which gave the message of solidarity to the country in the 1857 revolution. Lotus flowers and roti have always given a befitting reply to those who divided the country. If we stay united, no one will ever be able to defeat us. Everyone's effort will give height to Uttar Pradesh. With the blessings of Maa Shakumbhari, I am starting this election campaign. I also congratulate every voter associated with us from Baghpat, Shamli, Gautam Budh Nagar, Muzaffarnagar, and Saharanpur.
UP government did honest work
During this, Modi praised CM Yogi fiercely. Modi said that when I came to western UP at the time of elections five years ago, I told you that we will leave no stone unturned for the development of UP. In these five years, under the leadership of Yogi Ji, the UP government has made efforts to serve you, with full sincerity, for the development of UP.
Dabangg and rioters were the only law five years ago
Modi said that no one can forget what was discussed about UP 5 years ago. 5 years ago, the domineering and the rioters were the law, where was the order of the government. 5 years ago the merchant used to rob, the daughter was afraid to come out of the house and the mafia used to roam freely under the protection of the government. Kidnapping, ransom, and extortion ravaged the middle class and merchants. In 5 years, the Yogi government has brought Uttar Pradesh out of these situations. The people of western UP can never forget that when this area was burning in the fire of riots, the previous government was celebrating.
Modi further said that five years ago, illegal occupation of the house-land-shop of the poor, downtrodden, backward, was a symbol of socialism. The news of the exodus of people used to come every day. We are expanding ourselves for change in UP, they are determined to take revenge on you. The ticket given by these people is another proof of this. Taking this revenge has always been his thinking. That's why I am happy to see that the people of UP are very careful and alert from these rioters.
First-time voters openly with BJP
Modi said that seeing our work and their exploits, their deeds, this time also the people of UP are going to give full blessings to the BJP. This also our first-time voters are open with BJP. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas, this is also the core mantra of our double engine government's policy and loyalty. Whatever schemes have been implemented by the BJP government in the past years, everyone has got the benefit of them, without any discrimination.
This spirit is at the core of our Constitution.
The PM said that those who have never felt the suffering of the poor, have never seen it, are always cut off from the ground, they can neither understand the poor nor can do good to them. An example of how the BJP government of the poor has worked is the pucca houses of the poor. The previous government had built only 73 houses in Gautam Budh Nagar in its 5 years. Yogi Ji government has built about 23 thousand houses in these 5 years and given them to the urban poor. In the last 5 years, many new educational institutions, ITIs, and new medical colleges have opened in UP. So many new universities have come up, so youth dreams and youthful aspirations are behind it.

The PM also took a jibe at SP President Akhilesh Yadav. Modi said, 'Those who do not believe in the country's vaccine, those who give fuel to rumors, can they respect the talent and innovation of the youth of UP? Those who shy away from even coming into the field of youth aspirations like Noida because of the superstition of losing power, can they represent the dreams of the youth?' Modi said that even in Saharanpur city, the previous government had built only 221 houses for the poor. Yogi Ji's government has built more than 18 thousand houses in these five years and given them to the poor of Saharanpur. In Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, and Baghpat cities too, in total, only 800 houses were built by the previous government during its entire tenure. Yogi Ji's government has given houses to more than 33 thousand poor people in these three cities.
