Announcement of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari: The person who sends the photo of wrong parking will get a reward of 500 rupees, will also bring a law for this

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari made a big deal against wrong parking during an event in Delhi on Thursday. He said- I am going to bring a law that if anyone wrongly parks a vehicle on the road, he will be fined Rs 1,000. At the same time, 500 rupees will be given to the person who takes photos of such vehicles and sends them.

Gadkari said- Wrong parking is a big danger. This is happening because of the increasing number of cars in urban India. Even though every member of a family has a car, they do not create a parking space. For example, in Delhi, wide roads are being considered parking spaces.

Expressed displeasure over the wrong way of parking

Gadkari told that his house in Nagpur has parking space for 12 cars and he does not park on the road at all. Today a family of 4 members has 4 cars. Looks like the people of Delhi are lucky. We have made a road to park their vehicle.

Gadkari said – Public transport with electric vehicles is essential for India. In America, the sweepers also have cars. Soon such a situation will happen in the country as well. Everyone is buying a car.

Car sales doubled this year

In terms of car sales, after Corona, the country has seen a boom after a huge decline in the sale of cars. Car sales doubled in May 2022 as compared to the previous year. According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the wholesale sales of passenger vehicles increased to 2.5 lakh units in May 2022 from less than 1 lakh units in May last year.

These include cars and other vehicles except two-wheelers and three-wheelers. The total sales of passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers increased to over 15 lakhs in May this year as compared to less than 5 lakhs in the same month last year.
