Mann Ki Baat: Maha Kumbh, start-up culture and India's flight into space... what did PM Modi say in Mann Ki Baat?

PM Modi Mann Ki Baat Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the first 'Mann Ki Baat' program of 2025. This is its 118th episode. In the program, the PM expressed his views on the elections including the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj.

 

While addressing Mann Ki Baat, the PM said that you people must have noticed one thing every time Mann Ki Baat takes place on the last Sunday of the month, but this time we are meeting a week earlier on the third Sunday instead of the fourth Sunday, because Republic Day is on Sunday next week, I wish all the countrymen a Happy Republic Day in advance.

 

This time 'Republic Day' is a very special

 

The PM said that this time 'Republic Day' is very special. This is the 75th anniversary of the Indian Republic. This year it has been 75 years since the Constitution came into force. I salute all those great personalities of the Constituent Assembly, who gave us our sacred Constitution.

 

With this, the PM heard the real voice of many great leaders. PM read out the statements of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Rajendra Prasad, and Shama Prasad Mukherjee on the Constitution.

 

Mahakumbh is a celebration of unity in diversity.

 

PM further said that the Mahakumbh has been inaugurated in Prayagraj. He said that unimaginable scenes and an extraordinary confluence of equality and harmony are being seen in Mahakumbh. This time many divine yogas are also being formed in Kumbh. This festival of Mahakumbh celebrates unity in diversity.

 

India's dominance in space

 

The Prime Minister said that our scientists are making India proud in space. We are growing vegetables in space. He said that cowpea has been sprouted in space. Due to this, the work of growing vegetables will be done in the future also. Along with this, the PM mentioned the SpaDeX (Space Docking Exercise) mission.

 

The PM said that under this, history has been created by successfully docking two Indian satellites in space. With this achievement, India has become the fourth country to do so after America, Russia, and China. This mission is an example of India's growing space power.

 

Start-up culture is growing rapidly.

The PM further said that the Start-up India campaign has completed 9 years. More than half of the Startups created in our country in 9 years are from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The PM said that now the start-up culture is not limited to big cities, but has reached the villages.
