Pankaj Udhas Passes Away: Famous ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas passed away on Monday 26 February. He breathed his last at Kandy Hospital in Mumbai. The singer was ill for a long time.

 

His last rites will be performed on Tuesday between 3 to 5 pm. There is silence in the film industry due to the demise of Udhas C. Film stars are paying tribute to him on social media. On Tuesday, actress Shatrughan Sinha tweeted and paid tribute to Pankaj Udhas ji with tears in his eyes.

Shatrughan Sinha, while sharing an old picture of himself with Pankaj Udhas ji on Saddened by the demise of Udhas. He won hearts with his mesmerizing voice and as I said about the late and great Jagjit Singh, Pankaj Udhas can also be called the rarest of rare human beings.

 

His best works were 'Chithi Aayi Hai' 'Aur Aahista Ki Jiye Baatein' and 'Ashita Aahista'...His sudden demise comes as a shock. We will miss him, as he will live on in our hearts through his everlasting tunes. Heartfelt condolences and prayers for peace to his entire family, friends, fans, well-wishers, and loved ones during this difficult time.

 

Know when and where the last rites will be held

Pankaj Udhas's daughter Nayaab Udhas shared a post on Instagram late at night, in which she gave information about the singer's funeral. It was written in this post, with a very heavy heart, we are telling you that he died on 26 February 2024 due to prolonged illness. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, February 27, between 3 to 5 pm, at the Hindu Crematorium in Worli, Mumbai.
