According to the official filing submitted to the NSE and BSE, Suzlon Energy's Register of Members and Share Transfer Books will remain closed from Saturday, September 5, 2026, to Friday, September 11, 2026 (both days inclusive).

During this period, no share transfers will be processed. The book closure is being undertaken for the purpose of conducting the AGM and determining shareholder records. The company has also enabled remote e-voting facilities, allowing eligible shareholders to vote electronically on resolutions before the meeting.

Suzlon Share Price Under Pressure

Suzlon Energy shares continued to face selling pressure on Wednesday, falling 1.5% to ₹47.47 on the BSE. The stock has corrected nearly 10% in the last two trading sessions, reflecting investor concerns after the company's Q1 FY27 earnings.

The renewable energy company reported a 6% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit, which came in at ₹305 crore, compared with ₹324 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Despite the decline in profit, analysts believe Suzlon remains one of the key beneficiaries of India's long-term renewable energy expansion plans.

Motilal Oswal Maintains 'Buy' Rating

Brokerage firm Motilal Oswal has reiterated its 'Buy' recommendation on Suzlon Energy while revising its target price to ₹65 per share, indicating a potential upside of around 35% from current levels.

The brokerage noted that while the latest quarter was relatively weak, the company continues to remain on a strong growth path.

Key Factors Highlighted by Motilal Oswal

Order inflows, project execution, and installation pace will be critical for sustaining growth through FY27 and FY28.

Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) contribution margins declined to 23.4%, compared to 26% in Q1 FY26 and 24.5% in Q4 FY26.

EBITDA margin remained at 15.5%, impacted by temporary logistics and supply-chain disruptions linked to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Nuvama Remains Cautious

Brokerage firm Nuvama has maintained a 'Hold' rating on Suzlon Energy and revised its target price to ₹51 per share, suggesting a modest upside of around 6%.

The brokerage remains optimistic about Suzlon's prospects in:

FDRE (Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy) projects

RTC (Round-the-Clock) renewable power projects

Hybrid renewable energy tenders

PSU-led renewable energy projects

Nuvama also highlighted Suzlon's strong presence in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and captive power segments, which currently contribute nearly 70% of the company's order book.

Renewable Energy Growth Story Remains Intact

While short-term profitability remains under pressure, analysts believe Suzlon's long-term growth outlook remains favorable. India's increasing focus on clean energy, rising demand for wind power, and government-backed renewable initiatives continue to create significant opportunities for the company.

However, experts expect wind energy sector growth to stabilize at around 8–10 GW annually over the next few years, with Suzlon's larger growth ambitions likely to materialize gradually toward the latter part of the decade.

As Suzlon navigates short-term challenges and market volatility, investors will closely monitor order inflows, execution capabilities, and margin recovery in the coming quarters.
