Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar stated that during his tenure, Donald Trump attempted to assert dominance over the world, which escalated tensions with numerous nations—repercussions of which were eventually felt by the United States itself.

He remarked that there was no direct conflict with Iran; however, the situation deteriorated due to support for Israel and the pursuit of aggressive policies. According to him, Trump's policies and personal ambitions ultimately caused harm to the United States. Wadettiwar further added that a sense of discontent is brewing in the minds of people in India as well. Although people may not be coming forward openly, an underlying sentiment is taking shape that the country is not heading in the right direction.

The White House Dinner Shooting Incident

Notably, a sudden commotion erupted during the dinner event around 8:34 PM on Saturday night. At that time, President Donald Trump was present at the venue and was conversing with Weijia Jiang and mentalist Oz Pearlman. Upon receiving an alert regarding a potential threat, security agencies immediately sprang into action. Acting swiftly, the Secret Service safely evacuated Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Usha Vance from the premises.

A few hours after the incident, Donald Trump announced that a suspect had been apprehended. The accused has been identified as 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen, who had traveled to Washington from California. According to officials, he was attempting to gain entry to the event while armed; his intended targets were high-ranking government officials, but security agencies successfully foiled his plot in the nick of time.
